This Extreme Sports Trauma Kit was designed for extreme sports  enthusiasts such as backcountry hunters, hunting guides, motorcycle riders, paraglider and hang glider pilots, kayakers, rafters rock climbers and mountaineers.

This Extreme Sports Trauma Kit has been developed with extensive impute from First Responders, Military Medics, Health Care Providers, Emergency Medical Technicians, Trauma Surgeons, Emergency Department Nurses, Doctors and individuals in the extreme sports industry. This kit was specifically designed to be a cost effective means to treat heavy trauma associated with extreme sports injuries.  

The core of the kit is based around the Tactical Tourniquet, OLAES Modular Compression bandage, ChitoGauze® OTC wound clotting gauze and the ActiSplint form fitting mouldable splint device. Additional bandages and tapes are provided that have multiple applications.  There is additional space available for   personal items and medications as needed.

ChitoGauze® OTC is a hemostatic gauze dressing intended for
temporary external use to stop bleeding in minor wounds. ChitoGauze readily conforms to a wide range of wound profiles, allowing easy wound packing and rapid control of bleeding. The unique and proprietary chitosan is impregnated through the dressing and specifically designed to avoid particle shedding into the wound.

Triangular Bandage (1)
A triangular bandage sling dressing applications include use in arm slings, tourniquets, compression bandages, and various dressing coverings This is a breathable tape that can be used to secure a dressing, applied over a Super Glue Adhesive  application, to tape a sprained jount, strap a strained muscle, secure the ActiSplint or use in a quick wound closure.

Elastoplast Rigid Strapping Tape is a robust supportive tape that stabilises joints during vigorous physical activity in all conditions. Constructed to be as stable as possible with a rubber zinc oxide adhesive mass.

Directions
Adults and children over 12 years: Initial dose take 2 tablets with water. Then take 1-2 tablets every 4 hours (maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours).
